Lucky me!

I cannot believe it....look who is in my backyard today.  No this isn't my picture...my resident wildlife photographer is not home. Drats.

The Western Tanager is just about my favorite bird in the world. It has to be this unusual weather that brought him here.  Yeah!

The darn long-tailed grackles are trying to chase him off - grrrrr!!
