Saturday night we saw "Oklahoma" at TheaterWorks in Peoria. We attended their productions years ago when they were housed in an old barn on Thunderbird Road. Now they have a nice, new facility in downtown Peoria. We decided to get season tickets this year. OK so it's NOT Arizona Theatre Company but what a joy to have a 10 minute drive including parking! Saturday night happened to be an appreciation night for donors and supporters. We were invited since that was our regular reservation night. Wow, we lucked out! We had fancy hors d'oeuvres and wines from a soon-to-be Peoria winery. The actors are mostly young, none are equity or SAG but there was a lot of talent to enjoy.
