September in the Pines

 We recently spend two weeks in a remote cabin in the pines, located  in Parks, AZ.

(And that's why no posts and no sewing projects lately.)

 Away from most everything,t was about 20 minutes to Flagstaff and a bit closer to Williams.

(Oh, I love Williams!)

Other creatures shared the area. 

 Oh yes - Ella was in attendance. She has had more vacations this year than I can count. Her masters came and went. Ella stayed. In fact, she got very depressed when she had to leave.

 It was so quiet there, it almost hurt my ears! We had some rain and loved it .Mostly I sat on the wrap- around deck and just relaxed. (Hard to imagine, I know.)  I read, knitted and worked a puzzle. I spend one day in Sedona/Jerome with a girl friend. (Oh...the quilt and knit shops were to die for!!)

Trips into Williams, Flagstaff, Dog Lake and the Grand Canyon south rim provided my photographer with more picture ops.  More pictures will follow!
