I am taking part in Bountiful Baskets Food Co-Op. You join, pay on-line and then order your basket once a month. Local produce is delivered to various locations around the valley. My distribution point was very close to my neighborhood. All the work of loading and dividing is done by volunteers. This weekend was my first basket. I selected an organic basket. Both fruits and vegetables are included. Just imagine the lettuce we ate last night was in a field the day before. Read more - it really is fantastic and very well organized. http://www.bountifulbaskets.org/. I got a great loaf of olive oil bread as well. The co-op is adding more products all the time.
When I got out my Christmas decorations I was so pleased with my table runners and wall hangings made over the last few years. I am grateful to gave a great sewing group. We frequently select a project and work on it together. Sometimes it is a project we would not choose on our own. This table runner with 3-D poinsettias is a Mt. Redoubt pattern. It scared me just reading the directions! But because our group worked together - it was really fun and not nearly so difficult as I supposed. I did not attach my 3-D flowers so when I use a centerpiece, I can remove the middle flower.
